University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB) is a public university that was established in 1973. UTPB is part of the University of Texas System and is located in Odessa, Texas, about 350 miles roughly southwest of Dallas, TX, and about 280 miles roughly east of El Paso, TX.

BSU also offers options with this MEd degree whereby students can choose between the Licensure (36 credits) or No Licensure (30 credits) option.
