Methodology
One of the first things future students look at is the cost of any given program, and doctoral degrees in this field can range from $20,000 to $70,000 or more, not including other expenses that many students have. However, it can be tricky to weigh the quality of a program with its cost, which is where we come in.
In order to develop an accurate list, we began with the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), which maintains an updated list of universities in the U.S. as well as statistics relating to higher education.
